Kat is a Thai/Taiwanese New York-based photographer and dancer.

Influenced by the richness of colors found in nature and the artistry of the communities she is apart of, her visual narrative aims to reimagine how culture, identity, movement, and self-expression can be portrayed and perserved in ways that look and feel timeless.

She frequently works alongside and photographs her community within New York, with an intentional focus on spotlighting BIPOC and queer artists. Her work aims to expand how artists and members of the cultural underground are captured — offering an insider perspective that is intimate, contemporary, and rooted in care. By doing so, she seeks to bridge the gap between these communities and the creative industries that often draw inspiration from them.
